The 19th edition of OIL & GAS ASIA (OGA), ASEAN's largest industry event, took place from 13 to 15 September 2023 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. The three-day exhibition attracted the professionals, trade and business visitors related to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industries from around the world. As a professional supplier of industrial lighting, OKTECH participated in the event with the local team.

One of the highlights of this event was sustainable energy solutions. Several companies showcased a range of innovative technologies to reduce carbon emissions and promote energy efficiency retrofit programs. Innovations in this area have sparked widespread discussion, with many companies being committed to increasing their investment in energy efficiency retrofits in the coming years. Another striking theme was the applications of digital technologies. The exhibitors showcased smart oilfield management systems, data analytics tools, and artificial intelligence applications to improve productivity and reduce costs. These technologies will lead the way for the oil and gas industry in the future.
 

OKTECH showcased professional explosion-proof lighting products and solutions for the oil and gas market at the exhibition and attracted local oil and gas companies and Chinese enterprises in Malaysia, such as Petronas, ExxonMobil, Shell, etc. We also showed the OK-LIMS (Lighting Intelligent Industrial Management System), an intelligent and digital control system, to the visitors. We demonstrated our ability to provide our customers with more energy efficient and effective facility management solutions in the oil and gas industry to help them achieve carbon and energy reduction goals faster.
 

During the exhibition, we communicated with our target customers and reached the cooperation intention of some new projects. The senior management team also visited the local project sites and communicating with customers to strengthen the foundation of cooperation. Meanwhile, OKTECH has also been focusing on the future development plan in Malaysia, and has been communicating and discussing with MIDA team about the investment plans.
